VAC Renaissance Mk V Preamplifier

The Renaissance Mk V represents a complete redesign sharing architectural DNA with VAC's Statement Series. Its line stage employs the same transformer-coupled Class A1 balanced triode topology found in Statement components, delivering expansive soundstaging and nuanced signal preservation. Dual-mono power supply filtering optimizes high-voltage regulation for superior imaging clarity. The direct-acting analog remote volume control provides continuously variable attenuation, allowing precise gain adjustment for optimal musical focus. Three high-level inputs accommodate both balanced and single-ended sources via premium Cardas and Neutrik connectors. The optional MM/MC phono stage features three Class A1 twin triodes with variable moving-coil impedance loading and passive RIAA equalization derived from the Signature Mk IIa SE, utilizing identical premium MC input transformers. This integrated phono solution rivals standalone designs at considerably higher price points, delivering performance befitting VAC's uncompromising engineering standards.
