Boulder's flagship monoblock delivers an impressive 1000W into any impedance, engineered for uncompromising audio performance. Precision computer-designed circuit boards are mechanically isolated within custom-machined frames to eliminate vibration-induced distortion. Dual potted toroidal transformers housed in a welded steel enclosure ensure transformer hum is completely absent. The amplifier features dual 99H2 gain stages—a refined evolution of the legendary 990 design used in professional recording studios—with the majority of gain concentrated in the first stage for maximum bandwidth. Full Class-A biasing with active analog management delivers massive instantaneous power and control from 80 bipolar output transistors. Boulder Link integration enables seamless communication with Boulder preamps, while 12V trigger compatibility supports most surround processors. Dual high-current speaker terminals accommodate bi-wired configurations for optimal loudspeaker interface.
