HiFiMan HE-R10P Closed-Back Planar Magnetic Headphones

Since its beginning in 2007, HiFiMan Electronics has introduced a selection of open-back electrostatic and planar magnetic headphones. Now they are introducing their first closed-back unit called the HE-R10P. These new planar magnetic headphones utilize a CNC-carved cherry wood cup with a unique slanted design to provide both a full-range response and volume. 

The exterior of the HE-R10P is natural lambskin covering a high-grade memory foam for the ultimate in comfort. The headband is solid steel. The ear cups are comfortable suede with an inner ring structure to absorb sound and provide a close fit that brings the sound directly into each ear.

HiFiMan notes that the single cord connection is easier to wear and use and lends itself in the future to wireless adapters. They have made sure that the inner wiring length is the same  for both ear cups to avoid any audio distortion. The HE-R10P comes in a beautiful box with a black cloth interior and a metal plate engraved with the model number on top. It also comes with three detachable cables with a 3.5 mm jack for the headphones and a selection of 3.5 mm jack, a 1.4-inch jack, and an XLR balanced jack on the other ends.
