SR USB Cable— There are many problems with off-the-shelf USB cables including poor quality conductors and dielectrics and insufficient shielding.  Conventional cables induce high amounts of signal jitter and phase noise degrading sonic performance.

The SR-USB-Cable is an exclusive Shunyata Research product that was designed to achieve the ultimate levels of performance without regard to production cost. It starts with our highest grade of ArNi® wire featuring pure OHNO copper in a VTX™ geometry with fluorocarbon dielectrics.  The power wiring is a completely different type of conductor designed specifically for DC power transfer minimizing any signal transmission interference. Massive silver-plated copper braided shields protect the delicate signals from external RFI/EMI.

As the performance vanguard in the Shunyata Research’s cable line-up; Sigma Series cables take the term ‘state-of-the-art’ to an entirely new level with the introduction of two new cutting-edge technologies. The first, integrated into the Sigma Series interconnects and digital cables, is the ‘Transverse Axial Polarizer (TAP). It minimizes a form of ‘micro distortion identified as ‘electromagnetic polarization’ that reduces ‘sonic glare’ while increasing clarity and coherency.
