This successor to the SRM-006tS incorporates custom low-noise dual FET input stages and high-voltage 6FQ7/6CG7 output tubes, maintaining STAX's signature circuit philosophy while delivering measurable improvements. The dual-winding power transformer enhances supply efficiency and reduces power consumption without compromising sonic performance. A newly engineered chassis with non-magnetic aluminum construction increases rigidity and minimizes vibration-induced artifacts. The complete DC amplifier topology—featuring no coupling capacitors in the signal path—preserves the transparent, detailed midrange clarity characteristic of tube designs while adding enhanced low-mid density and warmth. Dual RCA and XLR inputs with parallel RCA outputs provide flexible integration into professional and audiophile systems. Meticulously selected components throughout ensure long-term reliability and refined sound quality.
