The Stabi S is a small turntable with a unique design that includes solid brass rods for a rigid connection to the platter, bearing, and tonearm support. The motor is housed in a separate brass tower and a ground, flat belt provides drive. The bearing is highly polished and uses a resin/textile material for excellent damping. Other features include a thicker platter, acrylic cover, and various tonearm compatibility. Introduced in 1998.
