Contrary to their name, Black Labs’ heritage actually traces back to Newfoundland in the 1700s, when they were first known as “Saint John’s Dogs.” When this large Newfoundland-based breed was mixed with smaller water dogs, the result is the dog now known as the Labrador. Labs are known for their dedication to duty, their highly developed sense of smell and hearing, and their endless capacity for playing.

AudioQuest's Black Lab Subwoofer Cable channels the dedication and precision of its namesake breed into delivering low-frequency signals with exceptional clarity and control. Purpose-engineered for subwoofer applications, this cable minimizes distortion in the critical bass frequencies where even subtle signal degradation becomes audible as muddiness or loss of definition. The cable's construction ensures accurate transmission of the subwoofer's control signals, allowing your bass management system to function with the precision it demands. The result is tighter, more articulate bass integration that enhances overall system coherence without introducing coloration or noise into the low-frequency spectrum.
