The pinnacle of Esoteric's monoblock D/A conversion technology, the Grandioso D1X SE delivers uncompromising stereo playback performance. Built around a proprietary Master Sound Discrete DAC with custom FPGA and 64bit/512Fs Delta-Sigma modulation, this reference-grade converter handles DSD 22.5MHz and PCM up to 768kHz/48bit via ES-Link5. The upgraded DAC board features hand-selected components including the IDM-01, while a discrete Master Sound clock module ensures pristine timing. Dual independent toroidal transformers per channel, low-feedback DC regulators, and the high-slew-rate Esoteric-HCLD output buffer amplifier provide exceptional power delivery and signal integrity. ES-Link Analog current transmission, MQA decoding, USB input, and clock sync functionality round out a comprehensive feature set engineered for the most demanding listeners. Semi-floating top panel and redesigned pinpoint feet optimize mechanical isolation. Upgrade service available from the original D1X.
